Punjab CM expresses displeasure over non-operational of Global Village

Despite personal interest of Punjab Chief Minister Muhsin Naqvi, Global Village Walk and Shop Arena Center could not become operational, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab Chief Minister expressed his displeasure with Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Central Business District (CBD) officials in this regard while chairng a meeting, held on the Global Village project.
In the meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Muhsin Naqvi was briefed on the Global Village project.
Sources said that the Chief Minister of Punjab was angry that the project was not operational despite the deadline.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhsin Naqvi had given a deadline of December 31 to make the project operational in investors summit ceremony.
The Global Village established in Johar Town has been built on 130 Canal.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Muhsin Naqvi visited a low-cost housing scheme in Raiwind which is accomplished by Caretaker Punjab Government.
As many as 245 houses of the scheme will be given to low grade government employees on the direction of the Chief Minister on January 15.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the facilities provided in the homes and instructed for immediate measures for accommodation of government employees in constructed houses.
