Two dacoits killed in encounter with Burewala police

Two dacoits were killed during a police encounter in the limits of Gaggoo police station in Burewala on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The dacoits, identified as Tariq Azeem and Muneer, were involved in various crimes and had criminal record.
The accused had injured a person named Naveed during a dacoity attempt near Shah Junaid Chowk on December 26.
Tariq Azeem was arrested during a police encounter and later on his companion Muneer was arrested on his information and both were being shifted to police station. Four unidentified persons opened fire at the police party to get the accused released from the custody of police near Shah Junaid Chowk, which was retaliated.
During this firing incident, Tariq Azeem and Muneer received serious bullet injuries. The two dacoits died on the way to hospital when the SHO Gaggoo police station was shifting the two accused to the hospital. The search was on to arrest the unidentified attackers till the filing of this report.
