It is pertinent to be noted that the majority of members of the Supreme Court Bar, including Muhammad Mohsin Virk and Yasir Zahoor Abbasi, were approved by the Executive Committee to appoint Ahsan Bhawan as a lawyer in the Supreme Court during a meeting at the Lahore Registry.
