Drug addicted man kills wife, injures daughter in violent domestic incident

Tragedy struck in the Mohalla Islamnagar of factory area at Walton Road, Lahore, as a drug-addicted husband fatally stabbed his wife and inflicted injuries upon his daughter in a harrowing domestic altercation on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel report, accused Dawood Masih, aged 50, brutally killed his wife named Raina Masih, aged 48, in Mohalla Islamnagar. Following this horrific act, the assailant proceeded to injure his daughter named Zaina Masih before inflicting harm upon himself.
Local police and Rescue 1122 teams promptly reached at the location and both the injured individuals were swiftly transported to General Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Authorities commenced investigations into the matter, gathering crucial evidence from the crime scene with the assistance of forensic teams. The body of the deceased victim was also transferred to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
While initial assessments suggest the incident stems from domestic violence, the police officials have affirmed that thorough investigations are ongoing to uncover further details surrounding this tragic event.
