The decision of the Islamabad High Court to form a committee consisting of secret agencies for the recovery of missing persons was challenged in the Supreme Court.

The Ministry of Interior has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the IHC decision of February 19.

In the petition, it was contended that the Islamabad High Court cannot look into the issue of Balochistan.

“The IHC intervened in the affairs of the executive by ordering the formation of a committee consisting of secret agencies, it added.

It has been requested in the petition that the decision should be declared null and void.
