The Karachi Counter-Terrorism Department Tuesday claimed to have traced the network sending funds to Daesh in Pakistan, Syria and the UK.
In a letter to Sindh IG, the CTD said a suspected terrorist Muhammad Umer bin Khalid Malik transfers funds to four women in Syria through bitcoins and confirms over a Syrian number.
The women belonged to Lahore, the letter said, adding that funds transfer is made through bitcoin.
The lawmen also traced a youth, Awais, another suspected member. The letter was sent to the top cop so that the matter could be raised with the authorities concerned.
