Bracing for KPL from August 6

The management has been bracing for Kashmir Premier League from August 6 to August 16 as it prepared the team pickup order draft, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
Team pickup order for the league drafting has been announced after Director Cricket Operations Taimur Khan headed a special sitting for the purpose. KPL Vice President Waseem Akram, owners of franchises and coaches attended the meeting.
The order has been set by balloting, Taimur Khan said, adding that Oversees Warriors won the category of Oversees and Gold category, while Bagh Stallions stood first in Platinum Category.
He said Muzaffarabad Tigers topped Diamond, Rawalakot Hawks Silver and Kotli Lions Emerging Category. Drafting will be done on July 3 and the league will begin on August 6 and last on August 16, he said.
The league will be launched and the official concerned are busying making arrangement enthusiastically. The draft is likely to be consisting of international national, domestic, and emerging players
The KPL is dubbed as an opportunity for emerging players from Kashmir to show their talent to the world and it will be a milestone event that will brought about a change to the region.
