A session court in Lahore confirmed Monday the interim bail to the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the case of a brawl in the hall of Punjab Assembly (PA) and the torture of PA Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It is learnt that the court conducted a hearing over interim bail to the PTI leaders including Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Sibtain Khan and others.

The PTI leaders adopted before the court that the police registered a false and baseless against them, adding that they wanted to become part of the investigation but they feared the police would arrest them.

They demanded that the court confirmed their interim bail and stop police from arresting them.
