Let’s have an update on Avatar 3

The star of the Avatar franchise, Sam Worthington recently provided updates regarding the making of Avatar 3.

According to Sam Worthington, the movie will now be released in December of 2025.

Sam Worthington told ExtraTV at the premiere of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’, that pick-up filming for ‘Avatar 3’ is ongoing.

"They’re still filming. They’re down in New Zealand filming more than three. I think I go in tomorrow to do some more, so yeah we just keep going", Worthington shared.

It has also been reported that Avatar: The Way Of Water in the next sequel will be introducing more family members including Lo’ak (Britain Dalton) who is set to take over the role of narrator in the upcoming sequel.

After the early success of Avatar in 2009, with the movie hitting approximately $2.92 billion at the box office, it was followed by its sequel in 2022 namely Avatar: The Way of Water, 2022 which made approximately $2.32 billion at the box office.

Following the success of these two films, the director and the writer decided to continue its sequel by making Avatar 23 which was to be released in December 2024.
