PTI leader Salman Akram Raja said on Tuesday that despite all the hardships former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan was suffering at Adiala Jail, he was standing firm like a rock, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, he said that Imran had told him yesterday that he was not going to give up on his struggle. “For five days after October 3 when the ban was imposed on meetings with the jail inmates, the power supply to his cell remained disconnected. Due to this, there was complete darkness inside. During this period, he was not allowed to step outside the prison even once,” he said, and added, “Now, however, he is allowed to walk outside for one-and-a-half-hour.”

Raja said he had met with former prime minister’s wife Bushra Bibi in Peshawar a day before yesterday. “She told me that there were mice in the cell in which she was kept. And they would fall from the roof while she was asleep at night.”

Still, the PTI leader said, Imran had not moved from his position even by an inch.
