Close family members attend Bakhtawar, Mahmood engagement ceremony

Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and former president Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari got engaged to Mahmood Younas Chaudhry at a ceremony at Bilawal House in Karachi on Friday.
People from the two families and senior leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) attended the ceremony. PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur and Sanam Bhutto received the guests.
Asif Ali Zardari’s close friends Anwar Majeed and Malik Riaz of Bahria Town also attended the engagement ceremony. PPP leaders Farooq H. Naek and Sherry Rehman were also present.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari shared the pictures of the ceremony on his twitter handle.

Earlier, Mahmood Younas Chaudhry and his family reached Bilawal House from Marriott Hotel in the form of a caravan. Mahmood Younas Chaudhry presented Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari a gold ring at the engagement ceremony.
A limited number of guests was invited to the ceremony due to the pandemic. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari did not attend his sister’s engagement ceremony as he isolated himself after he tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday.
