Three armed robbers have looted Rs1.2 million from a wholesale shop in Landhi Babar market in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Sunday.
The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the scene. The footage shows two of the suspects entering the shop and pointing guns at the cash counter, while the third suspect, who was wearing a mask, stood outside and guarded the entrance.
The robbers quickly emptied the cash register and threatened the shopkeeper and other customers with their weapons.
The faces of the two unmasked suspects are clearly visible in the video, which could help the police identify and arrest them.
However, the shop owner said that the incident happened two days ago and he has not been able to register a case yet due to some unknown reasons.
