Security forces kill eight terrorists South Waziristan IBO: ISPR

Security forces Sunday killed eight terrorists during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in South Waziristan District, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“On 26 November 2023, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in the general area Sararogha, South Waziristan District, on the reported presence of terrorists. During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists as a result of which eight terrorists were sent to hell,” said the ISPR in its statement.

The ISPR added that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well the innocent civilians. Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, it added.

“Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” said the ISPR.
