Which PML-N leaders met Shehbaz Sharif in jail secretly?

PML-N leaders and MNAs Khawaja Asif, Rana Tanvir and Ahsan Iqbal met party president Shehbaz Sharif in jail.

This was disclosed by senior party leader Kh Asif during an interview to a private TV channel on Monday. He said that the PML-N leaders were invited by Shehbaz Sharif’s staff for a meeting. He said that he did not know who arranged the meeting. He said that NAB Lahore director general was also present during the meeting. He said that the meeting was held three days after the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif.

PML-N parliamentary leader Kh Asif denied of holding any separate meeting with Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif. He said that he did not deliver any message to Shehbaz Sharif during the meeting.

The PML-N senior leader said that he sent voice messages to party supremo Nawaz Sharif before and after the meeting. He said that people bought PML-N narrative. He said that he fully supported the Nawaz Sharif narrative. He said that he is no one without Nawaz Sharif. He is my leader, he added.

“Maryam Nawaz is like my daughter. She is carrying the legacy of Nawaz Sharif. She is our future. Party leaders have shown complete trust in her,” Kh Asif said.
