PTI stalwarts calls on JUI chief

A delegation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  Thursday called upon Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The delegation – consisting of former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser, Ali Muhammad Khan, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif and Junaid Akbar – reached Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence.

The delegation expressed condolence to Rehman over the demise of his mother-in-law.

Ongoing political situations and national reconciliation came under discussion during the meeting.

However, Asad Qaiser told the media that the meeting was apolitical and they met the JUI chief to express condolence.
