Zartaj, Kanwal react to Maryam Nawaz’s statement on Bashir Memon issue

Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul has said that Maryam Nawaz has become a psyche patient and the PML-N had met its political death.

She said Shahzad Akbar had sent a legal notice to Bashir Memnon.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Zartaj Gul along with Member National Assembly Kanwal Shauzab was talking at a press conference in response to PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz regarding Bashir Memon's statement in Islamabad on Wednesday.

On the occasion, Kanwal Shauzab said Maryam still dreamed about Prime Minister House. She said a media cell had been established in Prime Minister House during the government of the PML-N.

She said they honour and accept all the decisions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. She said the PML-N changed its stance on daily basis. She further said Maryam Nawaz expressed her surprise about the statement of Bashir Memon while she should know this was the story of her own house.

She said there should be an investigation on the statement of former High Commissioner of Pakistan to India Abdul Basit regarding how Shahbaz Salman used to telephone him for issuing visas to the Indian citizens.

Kanwal said that the PTI government was working for the betterment of the poor classes. She said PML-N had made political cases against PPP during their regime.

Shehbaz Sharif had conveyed the message of the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Justice Qayyum, she said, adding this is the same Supreme Court whose five honourable judges talked about the Sicilian mafia.
