Yamaha jacks up prices of all bikes

Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd has once again increased the prices of different models including of YBR 125 by Rs12,000 to Rs13,000 citing import restrictions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the circular released by the company, Yamaha YBR 125 CC will now be sold for Rs336,000 after an increase of Rs13,500.
YBR Red, Black 125 CC will be available at Rs349,500 after a rise of Rs13,500.
Meanwhile, YBR Matte Dark Gray 125 CC will be sold at Rs353,500 after a price rise of Rs13,500.
The price of Yamaha YB 125 ZDX has risen to Rs327,000 with a price rise of Rs12,500.
Abdullah Shari, Vice Chairman of Electronic and Motorcycle Dealers Alliance, cited that the increase in prices is due to import restrictions.
He said if this situation continues for 16 to 18 months, motorcycle companies will be shut down in the coming days.
On the other hand, citizens have also expressed their dissatisfaction over the increase in the price of motorcycles ahead of New Year.
