Stressing the need for resolving political differences in order to come out of the crisis the country was presently faced with, PML-N stalwart and Adviser to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Saturday said the government was sincere in making the talks with the PTI successful, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking at a function in Lahore, he said parties to the conflict needed to admit their mistakes. “The slain prime minister Benazir Bhutto and another former prime minister Nawaz Sharif learned from the bitter past and agreed it was high time the hostilities between the PPP and the PML-N came to an end,” he reminisced.

Sanaullah said that it was said that false cases had been registered against the PTI leaders and workers. “Let me remind you that false and fabricated cases had been lodged against the PML-N leaders as well.”

The PML-N leader claimed that the PML-N-led coalition government saved the country from bankruptcy at the cost of its vote bank. “If you want me to acknowledge what you say is true, then you too must acknowledge what I say is also true.”

He said that the PTI government had slashed the price of petrol towards the end of its term so that the country could become bankrupt.

Sanaullah said that the PTI was not inclined towards talks before November 26th.

He said if the politicians wanted, then the issues spanning seven decades could be resolved in only 70 days.
