FC man martyred in Kurram police station attack

Terrorists attacked a police station in the Kurram district, martyring a Frontier Constabulary official and injuring 5 others.

According to police, terrorists targeted Surkhpa Police Station in central Kurram with small weapons and escaped from the scene. Police sources claim that various terror groups are active in the central area of the district and often target government installations.

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi while condemning the terror attack, paid tribute to security officials.

In a message, Mohsin Naqvi expressed condolences to the bereaved families and offered prayers for the early recovery of the injured FC jawans.

The minister said the security men have made huge sacrifices for the safety and security of the country which will be remembered forever. He paid tribute to their sacrifices.
