Nathan acknowledges Pakistan's effort to fulfil IMF's conditions for loan

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief Nathan Porter Tuesday acknowledged the efforts of Pakistan to fulfil conditions for the restoration of the loan programme.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, IMF Mission Chief Nathan said Pakistan continued efforts to restore its loan programme and in the last few days, Pakistan has taken steps as per the conditions of the IMF.
The IMF mission chief said Pakistan has taken measures for enhancing taxes and social security in the recent budget approved by the government.
Nathan Poter also said that the foreign exchange market has been made more strong and more active while the policy rate has been increased according to the inflation in the country as well as steps have also been taken to reduce the pressure of the balance of payment.
