Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has cancelled her political activities for the next four days after feeling unwell, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a statement released in Lahore on Sunday by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, the party vice-president complained of high fever and severe pain in the throat.

Maryam Nawaz also underwent coronavirus test, the spokesperson said and added the doctors have advised the PML-N vice-president complete rest.

Later, Secretary to Maryam Nawaz Zeeshan Malik said the coronavirus report of Maryam Nawaz has come back negative.

Despite feeling unwell, Maryam Nawaz had visited Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday to submit a surety bond in connection with her interim bail.

Maryam Nawaz was granted pre-arrest bail by the LHC after she was summoned by the National Accountability Bureau on March 26 for a plot allotment case.
