10 die, 15 injured after passenger van plunges into ravine in Upper Dir

At least 10 people died and 15 others sustained critical injuries after a passenger van plunged into a ravine in the Patrak area of Upper Dir on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police and rescue sources, the injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital where the condition of four is stated to be critical.

“The passenger van was on its way from Mardan to Kalkot when it plunged into a gorge as soon as it reached Chalal in the Patrak area of Upper Dir,” police said.
