Punjab CM Office employee caught while gambling with friends

Police in Lahore on Monday night registered an FIR against a staffer of the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Office who had been caught gambling along with his seven friends while playing Ludo, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources in the police told 24News TV channel that Umar was an employee at the CM Office’s IT Department.

As per the FIR registered under the sections related to gambling and interference in official duty, the suspect and his accomplices even thrashed the policemen when they carried out the raid.

Furthermore, the FIR said, in an attempt to flee, Umar also jumped from the police van but did not succeed.
