For the first time in the history of Port Qasim Karachi, a 355-metre-long cargo vessel anchored on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

At Port Qasim, the container vessel DP World anchored at the private company's terminal.

According to Port Qasim Administration, the process of transfer of goods from vessel container ship has been started.

The vessel container ship carrying the delivery of importers from all over the country reached Karachi today.

The Port Qasim admin said the Singaporean Lee Harvey Vessel arrived at Port Qasim from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia after two days of travelling.

The container vessel will leave for India tomorrow for further delivery after transferring the cargo, said the port admin.
