Everyone in Pakistan should hold their breath as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended ‘huge cuts’ in the prices of petroleum products in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The OGRA has forwarded the ‘hot’ summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and the Ministry of Finance. The changes in prices will be announced on Thursday (April 30).
According to the OGRA recommendation, petrol price should be reduced by Rs20.68 per liter, high speed diesel prices should go down by Rs 33.94 per liter and kerosene oil price should fall by Rs44.07 per liter.
Moreover a huge reduction of Rs24.57 per liter in the price of light diesel oil was also recommended.
The Ministry of Finance would announce the reduced rates on Thursday after getting a green signal from Prime Minister Imran Khan.
