Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill on Sunday lashed out at opposition parties – PML-N and PPP – for their undue and baseless criticism of Imran Khan’s government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The special assistant predicted that the PDM’s public gathering in Karachi will be a flop-show.
Addressing a press conference in Faisalabad, Shahbaz Gill accused the opposition of taking funds from “inside and outside” of the country and in return, they failed miserably by losing elections in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir elections. He also alleged that the opposition took side with India on the issues between the two countries.
He said an opposition is an integral part of a democracy and the government wants a powerful opposition in the country. He vowed that Prime Minister Imran Khan would not give NRO to the opposition leaders.
Shahbaz Gill said the opposition parties make a joke of Imran Khan for his pro-poor measures and policies including Ehsaas Programme, Insaf Card, and other flagship projects of the PTI government.
