Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur flew into a rage when an officer of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) refused to restore electricity supply to the minister's house on Sunday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Pesco discounted the electricity connection of the minister's house as he was a Rs2.58 defaulter.

The PTI minister called Dera Ismail Khan XEN and asked him to restore the supply but the latter refused to do so.

Gandapur flew into a rage and started hurling threats and abuses at the official. The Pesco XEN wrote a letter to the CEO for bringing the matter to the latter's notice.

The official said in the letter that the minister threatened to take him to task and mounted pressure to do the favour.
