Two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom when terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on a military post in Bajaur district, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
ISPR said the Pakistani troops responded in a befitting manner, killing at least three terrorists and wounding another four.
The martyred soldiers are 28-year-old Sepoy Jamal, a resident of Mardan, and 21-year-old Sepoy Ayaz, a resident of Chitral.
Pakistan strongly condemns the use of Afghan soil by terrorists against it and expects that existing and future setup in Afghanistan will not allow such activities against Pakistan.
