Two security personnel martyred as FC vehicle comes under terror attack in DI Khan

Two FC personnel were martyred in a militant attack on their vehicle in the Daraban Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan District on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, the incident took place in the Daraban police precincts. Two FC personnel embraced martyrdom while four others were wounded during a gunfight with the terrorists.
An Interior Ministry spokesperson said that martyred soldiers Sher-ur-Rehman and Syed Amin fought against the terrorists valiantly. He said that Rehman belonged to South Waziristan and Amin was a resident of Swabi.
Havaldar Imtiaz, soldier Mohib Shah, soldier Sahib Din and soldier Fazal Kareem were wounded in the incident. The wounded FC personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital immediately for treatment.
The Interior Ministry spokesperson said that FC personnel were committed to defeating the militants operating in Pakistan. He said that sacrifices of the FC personnel were reflective of their resolute commitment to winning the war on terrorism.
Reacting to the tragic deaths in the terrorist attack, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi saluted the martyred soldiers for their bravery and said that they sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country. He offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for early recovery of those wounded in this attack. He directed the authorities to provide a comprehensive treatment to those wounded in the terrorist attack.
