Man axes mother to death in Benazirabad

A man axed his mother to death as she tried to stop him and her daughter from fighting in Sakrand area of district Shaheed Benazirabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The mother lost her life after being attacked with an axe by her son. He struck her multiple times. Later police arrested the son.
Police said the son murdered his mother over a domestic dispute in which she was trying to convince her children not to fight. Police have shifted the dead body to the hospital.
Sakrand is a taluka of the district Shaheed Benazirabad (erstwhile Nawabshah), near about 18 kilometres from the old Nawabshah city.
