The Hindus residing in Karachi have expressed resentment against the Indian PM Modi’s government, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The community is free to perform all their rituals in Karachi but they find it difficult to get visas for performing rites in India.
According to them, the visa given to them by the Indian Embassy for the cremation in India is subjected to a sponsor, which is not something that every man can manage.
The 100-year-old cremation ground in Karachi has 300 remains that could not be transported due to strict Indian visa requirements.
Shri Ramnath Misra Maharaj says that he has raised the matter with the Indian authorities and they have assured him of removing the visa sponsorship condition, but no written orders have come out.
