Court extends Manzoor Pashteen’s physical remand by two more days

A court in Islamabad on Thursday approved another two-day physical remand of chairman Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Manzoor Pashteen in a case filed against him at federal capital’s Tarnool police station, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Manzoor Pashteen was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmad Shehzad Gondal on completion of the two-day physical remand.
Manzoor Pashteen's lawyer Sami Wazir, Mussadiq Khattak and others appeared before the court.
Investigating Officer requested the court for further physical remand of Manzoor Pashteen.
The court asked the investigating officer “Why do you want to further remand”.
The defence lawyer questioned the investigating officer by saying “Tell us about the progress of the remand that has been taken earlier and why are four cases are lodged over one incident.”
Earlier, bail was granted to Manzoor in two cases and the High Court has given verdict that when an arrest is made in one FIR, it should be considered as an arrest in all the cases, said that defence lawyer.
However, the court extended PTM leader’s physical remand by two more days.
