General Sahir Shamshad graces Army Medical College convocation as chief guest

Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Thursday attended the 41st convocation ceremony of the 42nd MBBS and 21st BDS course held at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, as chief guest, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations.

Chairman JCSC awarded degrees and medals to the graduating students.

Dr Qurat Ul Ain Azam was awarded the President’s Gold Medal for being the best all-round student for the 42nd MBBS course, while Dr Tayyaba Zafar was awarded the President's Gold Medal for being the best all-round student for the 21st BDS course. Capt Taimoor Khalid was awarded the COAS Gold Medal for being the best military cadet.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman JCSC congratulated the graduating students and their parents and wished the graduating doctors success in their future endeavours.

CJCSC also acknowledged the contributions of Army Medical College in producing quality doctors, who serve the nation selflessly.
