PML-N defers interviews of Lahore district candidates

The 18^th meeting of the PML-N Parliamentary Board ended in Lahore on Thursday but the interviews of the party’s candidates for Lahore district were postponed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the sources, the meeting was wrapped up early as PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif was not feeling unwell.

The sources further said that now interviews of the Lahore district candidates will be held on Saturday.

Nawaz’s papers accepted

The returning officer has accepted Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers from NA-15 in Mansehra.

The approval came after the returning officer rejected the PPP lawyers’ objection to Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers.
