Firdous Shamim announces to resign from Sindh assembly as protest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi Tuesday announced to resign from his seat, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Firdous Shamim Naqvi made the announcement during the Sindh assembly session and also left the assembly in protest. He had also been Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly previously.
He said those PTI members who were nos suspended have been stopped at the assembly gate and he is resigning as a protest.
When Firdous was leaving the assembly, Mukesh Kumar Chawla take a jibe at him and asked him to tender his resignation before leaving.
Meanwhile, the opposition alliance in Sindh divided as MQM-P and GDA members distanced them from PTI members to hold a mock funeral in the assembly on the pretext of disrespecting the assembly.
GDA member Nand Kumar Goglani said who staged the mock funeral in the assembly they have already become dead.
PTI members did not attend the assembly session however their allies GDA and MQM refused to join them and attended the session showing a visible divide among the opposition alliance.
