26,591 non-filers SIM cards blocked in Multan region: FBR officials

Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) continued its campaign against non-filers by blocking their SIM cards across the country and the FBR Multan chapter has blocked 26,591 SIM cards in the region, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

FBR officials claim that Regional Tax Office Multan had given the names of 27545 non-filers to PTA.

The officials said that SIMs of non-files were being blocked at various stages and the process will continue as per FBR’s demand.
