Fawad Chaudhry accuses PTI’s Hamid Khan of destroying party  

Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Saturday that some of the PTI leaders were like termites who were damaging the party from within, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media outside an accountability court (AC) in Lahore, he said that people like Hamid Khan were responsible for the party’s destruction. “Hamid and members of his group did want to see the PTI progress,” he said, adding, “Those who are giving sacrifices and are facing cases are the real PTI.”  

Fawad said in his opinion nothing could be done without taking the opposition into confidence. “The government’s decision to launch military operation ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ became the subject of criticism. “What Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said was completely inappropriate,” he said.

Hitting out at the government for introducing amendments to the constitution of their choice, Fawad said the amendments related to the transfer of judges would ruin the judiciary.
