The Punjab government has decided to keep close free flour distribution points on Friday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday 

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi here on Wednesday. 

The meeting mulled over the measures to bring in betterment.

Chief Secretary, Secretary of Food, Commissioner of Lahore Division, Director of Food and other officials attended the meeting.

The commissioners and deputy commissioners who were participating in the meeting through a video link suggested closing the supply of free flour for one day to improve the arrangements. Agreeing with them, the CM approved that all distribution centres would remain closed on Friday.  

Punjab Chief Minister directed the authorities to keep the distribution of free wheat flour more diligently. 

The CM said that all necessary measures should be taken for the convenience of the citizens at the centres. 

Mohsen Naqvi warned that disorganization and bullying at the centres are not tolerated under any circumstances. 

“The process of flour distribution should be further improved by deputing additional police personnel at the centres.”
