Syed Naveed initiates Pak-Afro commerce conference with SADC countries

The Federal Minister for commerce Syed Naveed Qamar Tuesday initiated the Pakistan-Africa conference for commerce in Johannesburg from 29th of November till the 1st of December, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The commerce conference being held in Africa is the biggest conference ever in Pakistan’s history.
The Commerce Minister stated that delegations consisting of 225 exhibitors and business personalities are representing 20 major fields and more than 130 Pakistani companies from various fields are exhibiting their products.
Syed Naveed Qamar said that agents and business personnel from 16 countries of the South-African Development community (SADC) are participating in the conference and members of SADC will be displaying the Export Sectors of Pakistan which will raise awareness about the opportunities in the member countries among the Pakistani tradesmen. The federal trade minister further said that the top priorities are Joint ventures with other countries, development and propagation of linkages with regulatory authorities and establishment of banking channels.
Qamar also said that various MoUs will be signed between Pakistan and African countries.
