Dreary cipher court, dutiful groom and hilarious ‘risk’ talk!

During the cipher case hearing in the special court, the atmosphere in the courtroom turned light with the talk of a newly married court reader who came to perform his duty after hosting his Walima reception in the night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Court reader Istafham who hosted his Walima reception last night didn’t skip his court duty and came to the courtroom in the morning.
During cipher case hearing, Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s lawyer Ali Bokhari requested the court to let the court reader go early as his Walima was held just last night.
On this, PTI chairman’s lawyer Salman Safdar said in a lighter vein: “If the groom can come to the court after putting his life at risk, then why the PTI chairman cannot come to the court”.
The entire court burst into laughter on his remark.
Amused by the light conversation, Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain also chipped in to add more humour to the talk.
The judge remarked: “The groom did not risk his life to reach here, rather he came to the court to save his life from the risk.”
His remark spread eve more laughter in the courtroom than the courageous groom remarks uttered by the lawyer.
