Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl Abdul Ghafoor Haideri leader has said the all-party conference last week panicked the rulers.
The arrest of PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari’s indictment and issuing notices to Fazl by NAB show the government is panicked, Ghafoor said while talking to 24NewsHD on Monday.
The arrest of a person can’t affect a motion, the JUI-F leader said, adding that such tactics would strength the joint struggle.
“Show us the papers of properties, what NAB says, being owned by Fazl, so that we could send our workers to get possession,” he and questioned the timing of NAB’s action.
He expressed the resolve to continue with the campaign against the government for its failure to deliver.
The opposition parties joined hands to launch a concerted campaign to topple the government of Imran Khan, a cricketer-turned-politician.
The leadership of major opposition parties including PML-N, JUI-F, National Party (NP), Awami National Party (ANP), Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) and Jamiatul Hadees attended the PPP-hosted moot.
