Gold prices soar in local jewellery market

In a significant market movement, gold prices in the Multan jewellery market have seen a substantial increase on Thursday, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the report, the price of gold has surged by Rs1,500, marking a notable shift in the local market.
The price of 24 karat of pure gold has escalated to Rs2,06,500 per tola while 22 karat of gold is now being traded at Rs1,89,291 per tola.
On a per-gram basis, the price of 24 karats of gold has reached Rs17,700 and 22 karats gold is now selling at Rs16,200 on Thursday.
