Punjab police put on high alert for security of Milad-un-Nabi processions, mahafil

Punjab police have been put on high alert for the security of rallies, conferences and mahafil on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

“Foolproof security is being provided to the Eid Miladun Nabi mahafil across the province including Lahore,” Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar said.

“More than 46,000 policemen have been deployed to provide security to 1,281 mahafil and 2,510 conferences across the province including Lahore,” the Punjab police spokesperson said.
