Fire erupts at Multan airport, flight from Jeddah diverted to Lahore

A fire broke out at the Multan International Airport on Monday. The airport administration immediately diverted the flight from Jeddah to Lahore.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the fire erupted at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Staff Room.   
Soon after breaking out the fire at the FIA’s staff room, the smoke filled the airport lounges. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.
Due to the fire eruption at the Multan airport, flight PK 732 from Jeddah to Multan was diverted to Lahore airport.
