TikTok star Hareem Shah has claimed that her husband Bilal Shah was abducted by unknown people in plain clothes when he reached Karachi from abroad last week.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Hareem Shah said that Bilal Shah was with her in London and came to Pakistan eight days ago.
Hareem Shah said that there were eyewitnesses who saw the abduction but the local police station was not cooperating with her.
The TikTok star appealed to law enforcement agencies in Pakistan to recover her husband Bilal Shah who has no political affiliations.
The sources said that Bilal Shah is being interrogated about the controversial tweets that were posted from Hareem Shah's verified Twitter account.
The tweets, which targeted institutions and high-profile personalities, were later deleted.
Hareem Shah has denied running the account and said that someone else was using it without her consent.

On the other hand, the mother of Bilal Shah, who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown persons on August 26, has filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) for his recovery.
According to the petition, Bilal Shah had met his mother at home and then left for some work when he was abducted from Main Korangi Road.
The mother claimed that there was no case against her son and that the police had failed to recover him despite receiving an application.
Hareem Shah's lawyer Munir Ahmed Advocate confirmed that Bilal Shah has been kidnapped and her client is in England. He said the petition of Bilal Shah's mother is scheduled for hearing tomorrow.

Late night on Sunday, the Defense Police Station registered a case on the application of Bilal Shah's mother. In the FIR, Bilal Shah was kidnapped on August 27.
