Four kids die of gastro in flood-hit Sukkur

Four kids died in Sukkur Civil Hospital after the outbreak of gastroenteritis and other water-borne diseases among the children of the flood-hit people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The flood-hit people staged a protest outside the Children Ward against death of the children and the lack of facilities in the hospital.
“Four children have died in the Children Ward during the last four hours,” they said.
“Parents of three deceased children took their bodies home in rickshaws,” they added.
“The body of the fourth child, who belongs to Kashmore, still lies in the Children Ward,” they lamented.
“No ambulance is being provided to take the dead body home,” they alleged.
The administration of the hospital refused to record their stance on the issue.
