Lahore’s Special Court (Central) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the money laundering case against former chief minister Pervaiz Elahi till September 15, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The prosecutor of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted a cross-report on the challan, telling the court that the process to declare co-accused Moonis Elahi a proclaimed offender is underway.

He added that the challan would be submitted to the court after the process of declaring Moonis Elahi proclaimed offender was completed.

A duty judge of a special court (central) heard Pervaiz Elahi’s case. The court had ordered to complete and present the challan on Wednesday.

The court had ordered to take legal action against the DG FIA, deputy director and investigation officer over non-submission of the challan.

The court had also ordered to produce Moonis Elahi.

It is to be noted here that the FIA registered a case against Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi and other accused.

The suspects are accused of suspicious transactions and money laundering.
