The National Economic Transformation Plan, aimed at reshaping Pakistan’s economic future over the next five years, will be officially launched tomorrow, announced Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal during a ceremony in Lahore today.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, speaking at the passing out ceremony for officers of the 47th Specialised Training Program of the Pakistan Administration Service, Ahsan Iqbal emphasised the urgency of adopting a forward-thinking strategy.
He highlighted that the plan focuses on fostering an export-driven economy and prioritising emerging fields like e-commerce, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence. "Pakistan must blend its human resources with these technologies to thrive in the future global economy," he stated.
