Fire breaks out in Lahore’s Metropolitan cinema

Valuables worth millions of rupees were destroyed as a fire broke out in a local cinema in Lahore on Tuesday morning. No causality was reported, 24NewsHD TV channel said. 

The fire broke out in the Metropolitan cinema due to short-circuit.

Rescue teams with the help of water-canons brought the fire under control after an hour.

It was reported that rooftop of the cinema was made of woods which ignited the flames.

There was no loss of life; however, furniture and other precious items were burnt to ashes.
