Punjab CM inaugurates Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi formally inaugurated Dr Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences (FJIDS) in Jubilee Town of Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also unveiled the portrait of Dr Fatima Jinnah in the reception corridor.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the institute and inspected the online digital system, radiation control room, waiting area, dental implant, sterilized room and other areas.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed satisfaction over the state-of-art treatment facilities at Dr. Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the hospital consists of 120 beds and 90 units and is equipped with machinery which is not available anywhere else.
He said that as many as 435 doctors will perform duties in different shifts in the institute.
He said Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences was started in 2007 and cost of the project increased due to delay and the project costing Rs800 million has cost Rs4.5 billion due to delay.
He said that Mayo hospital is also completed and will be inaugurated in one or two days.
He said that all hospitals in Punjab will be completed in 5-6 days.
Mohsin Naqvi said when I went to DeMont, I was afraid to see the situation and was worried and surprised how patients are treated at DeMont.
Provincial Minister Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dr. Javed Akram, Chief Secretary, Secretary Health, Secretary Construction and Communications, Information Secretary, Commissioner Lahore Division, CCPO and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
